W30No3 Series: Day 2

This morning began with me flip flopping back and forth on whether I was going to drag myself out of bed to get to the gym… I was like “Oh, I’ll go after work, then I can get an extra hour of sleep!” – Yeah – it’s not sleep when you’re lying there thinking.

So – IĀ  did indeed kick myself out of bed, walked the dog, and got a killer run in!

Day 2 = Doubt setting in – can I do this during the work week? Food is my friend. I’m ok with my body the way it is. I don’t REALLY need to do this. BULL – YES I DO! I want it, and I’m taking it.

Workout: 45 minutes containing 2.5 mile run, and a weightlifting session

Breakfast:
> 2 Hardboiled Eggs
> 1 Slice Salami
> Tabasco sauce – OMG – my tastebuds were SO happy with this stuff!
> Water

> Black Coffee

Lunch:

Sooooo hungry!
> Carrots> Orange Bell Pepper slices
> Cucumber slices
> Canteloupe
> Salami
> Mott’s Natural Applesauce
> Good ol’ H2O!

Dinner:

So tonight we had a bit of an emergency, an ant emergency to be exact. We had to stop the everything and take care of the situation. Mind you, this was at 8.30, and my frustration and anxiety levels came to a head. So, for dinner tonight… you dont even want to know. But, it definitely wasn’t Whole30.

A good friend of mine said 80/20 is what she strives for during her cleanses. And I totally agree with her. My OCD and bipolar depression may not, but I’m doing this as a lifestyle change, and let’s be honest… shit happens. So, in the words of my husband again, I’ll try again tomorrow. As for today, I gave it my best and couldn’t be prouder. Sweet dreams ya’ll.
